Stephen A. Berthiaume 1957 - 2010 HOLYOKE - Stephen A. Berthiaume, 52, of Holyoke passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Springfield, MA he was the son of Claire (Veins) Berthiaume of Holyoke. He was a lifelong resident of Holyoke and a 1975 graduate of Holyoke Catholic High School. He worked at C & S Wholesale in North Hatfield. Steve was an avid Hot Wheels collector and card collector. He was a proud member of the Connecticut Valley Diecast Hot Wheel Club. Steve also enjoyed going shad fishing, playing softball, football, and basketball. He refereed for many years at Sacred Heart CYO Basketball league in Holyoke, but most of all, he will be missed by the family and friends he has left to cherish his memory. Besides his mother, he leaves his beloved wife of 33 years Debra (Williamson) Berthiaume of Holyoke; his loving children, Janara and her husband John Healy of Holyoke, Amy and her husband Edward Denette of Ludlow, his caring & loving grandchildren; Juliana, Lilyana, Jack, Henry James, Mia, Paige, Mason, and Gabrielle; his brothers, Paul and his partner Sue of Sunderland, Ronnie and his wife Lynn of Holyoke, a sister, Michelle Gorecki and her husband George of Holyoke, a very special sister-in-law & brother-in-law Theresa and David Wodecki of Holyoke, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends throughout the community.
